From October 4th through October 6th, 2012, the Durham Black Educators’ Network, supported by Durham District School Board, hosted “Closing The Attitude Gap” – a speaker series focused on activating student success, while understanding the achievement gap and the experiences of racialized and marginalized youth.

Distinguished leader in education and best-selling author, Principal Baruti Kafele, shared the frameworks for attitude transformation with administrators, students and parents during interactive sessions to be held within Durham District School Board locations.
